've been a family photographer for over 12 years… which means I’m fully prepared for whatever your kids bring to the session. Running off mid-shot, covered in sand five minutes in, refusing to cooperate entirely… honestly, perfect. Because the best photos are never the perfectly behaved ones, they’re the real ones. The messy, the wild, the moments you didn’t plan.
When I’m not working, I’m usually out chasing new location-quiet beaches, hidden corners, places that feel a little bit removed from everything else. That’s the part I love. So sessions with me don’t feel like standing around being told what to do, they feel more like time well spent somewhere beautiful, while I capture it as it happens- the small, in-between moments you don’t think to document, but end up meaning the most later on. My approach is simple, keep things calm, easy, and low pressure so you can just be yourselves. I’ll guide you when needed (no one’s expected to magically know what to do), but nothing will feel forced. Whether we’re chasing good light or documenting those early days at home, I’m there to keep it simple, relaxed, and real.

At it's core, not much has changed, I’m still drawn to real moments, just capturing them in a more considered way and helping people see the beauty in what’s already there!
've kind of always been this way. As a kid, I was the one carrying around a disposable camera, dragging my friends into fields or down to the train tracks for a “photoshoot.” From there, I moved to Vancouver in 2006 to study photography, and eventually made my way to Victoria, BC to do this for real.
My path into family photography
Working with Natasha was an absolute dream! She made everything feel so easy and natural. Natasha was incredibly patient, playful, and so warm with our little ones — within minutes the my daughter was smiling, laughing, and completely at ease. It honestly felt more like a fun family outing than a photo session.
Natasha beautifully captured the moments and details of our family that I want to remember forever. Her attention to detail is amazing, and the final gallery truly blew us away. Every image feels genuine, joyful, and full of life — the kind of photos we’ll treasure for years.
