but most people call me Tash.
Calling Vancouver Island home is pretty cool. Although I'm not exactly living the Blue Crush surfer girl lifestyle that I believed I was destined to one day be a part of, I married a surfer boy from Australia who has cluttered our home with surfboards and we spend a lot of time near the ocean swimming + checking the "swell"... so I mean I'd say that's basically the Canadian version.
It's the simple things that bring me the most joy: a warm cup of coffee in the morning, riding my bike through the forest, falling asleep in our tent under the stars, a big hug from a loved one, rainy day walks, sunset picnics, getting lost on an adventure and blaming it on Siri. Floating around on a blow up anything. One scoop two flavours ALWAYS in a waffle cone. And just simply being with those that I adore most- even my dramatic house plants that clearly don't love me back.
Words that I live by? BE KIND. You really just never know what people are going through. And also, normalize charcuterie boards for dinner!!!
My favourite things
01. Adventures Have My Heart
My perfect day would have to be getting lost outside with a picnic lunch, some good company and sand under my feet.
02. Kindness, always.
Saving bugs from drowning or leaving hidden notes to brighten a day are a few gestures i'm always down with.
03. Can't live without Sushi
If I could only have one meal for the rest of my life It would be sushi, hands down. Popcorn as a close second- but it's the sushi for me.
04. That Camping Life
Campfire coffee, cozy sleeping bags and waking up in a tent to the sounds of birds excite me. I spend way too much time researching hidden gem camping spots. If you share your sushi with me, I'll tell you a few!

My job is to photograph you in the most authentic way. Just show up and be yourself, and I'll take care of the rest!
02. I WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY
I'll find out a million things about you before our session so I can show up prepared to capture those moments that reflect you and those you love the most.
03. GET YOUR FEET WET
If you're up for kicking off your shoes, splashing in the water, running through a field or leaving with sandy toes- I am 200% down for it.
04. Chasing that dreamy light
Sunrise or sunset? It's up to you! We'll put some tunes on, dance a little, and chase that pretty light!
